“Thank you very much for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We tend to seek out more interesting places to stay when we travel and have been small accomodation hosts ourselves in the past so really appreciated the cabins. Their simplicity is superb and yet we found there was everything we needed whether it was matches in a waterproof bag or wine glasses.”
“The stoked bath was very difficult to get out of (meant in a good way) and we just loved sitting on the deck watching the beautiful sunset under the gas heater. We knew exactly what we were in for thanks to an informative website and email so came prepared. I think what impressed us the most though was the attention to detail through out and we fully appreciate the time and planning that would have gone into this project. Breakfast was perfect and complimented the deliberately parred back approach.”

“We had the most relaxing stay at Kumikos Guest House - the room was beautiful and cosy, and location was great being a 2min walk to Black Estate and the many other wineries close by. The outdoor bath was an absolute dream, which we enjoyed under the stars with a bottle of champagne. We'll definitely be back for another weekend away in Waipara!”

“Firstly thank you so much we loved our stay in the cabins. The quality of everything was top notch. The bed was “soooooo” comfortable and the sheets were to die for- so much so that my wife is feverishly looking online for them. We loved the privacy and the views, the supplied brekky along with early morning bird song made it fabulous. We will definitely recommend “Russels” to all our friends. “
